POST CONFERENCE MESSAGE FROM CARTA PRESIDENT

Dear 22-nd CARTA Conference Participants,

It has been over a week since the 22nd CARTA Conference became one more page in the CARTA’s annals. But what a glorious page it was! The Sessions, discussions, the Opening Reception, the Poetry Recital Contest, a Hermitage Tour, the  Concert went smoothly and with enthusiasm. Even the technology worked as if it understood the importance of our Conference and did not want to spoil it for us.

I would like to thank all of you- presenters, moderators, special guests, sponsors, exhibitors, the Poetry Contest’s participants, discussants, and listeners- for giving the virtual conference your souls (вдохнули душу) and by  that making it a vibrant and exciting event for everybody present. At times it felt as if the virtual and real distances  shrank and that we  were together physically and  could shake a hand and to give a hug to old and new members of the CARTA family. Thank you for that!

Special thanks go to the CARTA Board for their selfless services and dedication to CARTA!

I wish you all, your families, and friends  good health, enjoyable summer, interesting trips, books, and projects!

And following our new tradition, here is my toast- Many years to you all and CARTA! Многая лета!
